E-waste is a huge social and environmental problem. Artists and business could join forces to invent solutions and strategies to solve specific pieces of e-trash

Post a Problem
Occupying Spaces is a group of artists in the Netherlands making spaces for art and artists. OS works to material and mental space for art.
E-waste is a huge social and environmental problem. We ask ourselves how artists and business could join forces to invent solutions, products, strategies and campaigns to solve specific pieces of e-trash problems.

Occupying Space believes in art as a mental state and as a way of research. We are all in difficulty, our planet is dirty and asking for care. Nobody can do anything alone, that is why Occupying Space believes the only way to find solutions is by the intelligence of the crowds.

This is one experiment to find forms of collaboration between different approaches, ways of thinking that are still binary, apart from each other. We hope, if someone participates in the experiment, that it can be fun and interesting for him or her. We hope also that people that gets together in this context can take or help to take further the investigation of mental and material spaces for art and to make this space concrete, by for instance, gathering solutions for e-trash.
