Multiple Sclerosis

Post a Problem
Multiple sclerosis is an often debilitating neurological condition that can severely constrain lifestyles and even paralyze. Symptoms include fatigue, vertigo, pain, difficulty walking, bladder and bowel dysfunction, and even cognitive impairments. The disease affects about 400,000 individuals across the U.S., plus countless family members and friends that must learn to cope with this potentially disabling condition.

Given the harm the disease can cause, many individuals are frightened when first diagnosed - and according to the National MS Society, about 200 Americans are diagnosed each week. What can be done to reduce confusion and provide hope?
