Long-Term Care - Affordable?

Post a Problem
There comes a point in many of our lives in which we can no longer care for ourselves. We require assistance eating, bathing, and cleaning. We can't go out for recreation, so we need stimulation to come to us. We need, in short, long-term care.

Yet the high prices of many long-term care facilities puts them out of the reach of many in the middle class, let alone those living on severely limited incomes. Family members can help, but many live far away or are unable to devote sufficient time to their parents'/aunts'/uncles'/etc. needs. What other assistance options are available for those that cannot afford the care they need?
